KeJi Privacy Policy
Your notes stay on your device. KeJi has no account, no server and no analytics, and the extension makes no network requests of its own.
Where your notes are stored
KeJi keeps everything in the browser's local extension storage (chrome.storage.local) on your own device. It is not synced to a server and not sent anywhere. Uninstalling KeJi deletes it.
What is stored
- Your notes: the text, whether it is a note or a question, the video time, the saved time, and the address and title of the page.
- For pages that contain a video: the last playback position, keyed by the page address.
- Per website: the playback speed you chose, if "Remember my speed" is on.
- Settings, and the position and size of the floating panel.
- A small counter of the days you used KeJi (dates and counts only). It is shown to you on the notes page and never uploaded.
Does any data leave your device?
No. KeJi has no server, no account and no analytics, and its code makes no network requests. It does not read page text, form fields, passwords or cookies. It only reads the state of video elements (time, speed, paused) on the pages you open. Two things happen only when you click them:
- Search (the search button, or right-click, then search): opens a new tab at the search engine you picked in settings (Bing by default, or Baidu or Google) with the first 200 characters of the selected text in the address. That text goes to that search engine and is handled under its policy.
- Export as Markdown saves a file to your computer. The file contains your notes and their page addresses.
Sharing and sale
KeJi does not sell, share or transfer your data to anyone.
This website
This website (not the extension) counts page views with Vercel Web Analytics, which does not use cookies. This privacy page does not load it.

你的笔记只存在你自己的设备上。课迹没有账号、没有服务器、没有统计，扩展本身也不发任何网络请求。
笔记存在哪
课迹把所有内容存在浏览器的扩展本地存储（chrome.storage.local）里，也就是你自己的设备上。不同步到服务器，不发送到任何地方。卸载课迹就会删除。
存了什么
- 你的笔记：文字、是笔记还是题目、视频时间点、保存时间、页面的网址和标题。
- 含视频的页面：上次播放到哪里，按页面网址记。
- 每个网站：你选的倍速（打开“记住倍速”时）。
- 设置，以及浮窗的位置和大小。
- 一个“使用天数”小计数（只有日期和次数），显示在笔记页给你自己看，不上传。
有没有数据离开本机
没有。课迹没有服务器、没有账号、没有统计，代码里也没有任何网络请求。它不读页面文字、表单、密码和 Cookie，只读取你打开的页面里视频的状态（时间、倍速、是否暂停）。只有两件事发生在你点击之后：
- 搜索（搜索按钮，或右键后选搜索）：在新标签页打开你在设置里选的搜索引擎（默认必应，也可选百度、谷歌），地址里带着选中文字的前 200 个字。这段文字会交给那个搜索引擎，按它的政策处理。
- 导出为 Markdown：把文件保存到你的电脑。文件里有你的笔记和对应的页面网址。
共享与出售
课迹不会出售、共享或转让你的数据。
本网站
本网站（不是扩展）用 Vercel Web Analytics 统计页面访问次数，它不使用 Cookie。这个隐私政策页没有加载它。
